How to style: Cropped White Denim

There’s nothing lovelier  for spring/summer than wearing white. Since this year cropped denim is in, why not try combining the two? These jeans started out as normal length skinny jeans (Joe Fresh) but since I am constantly rolling them up (I only wear them in warm weather) I decided to crop them myself. Doing this is a great way to repurpose a pair of pants that are too long. I guessed on what length would look good on me and I have to say I’m quite happy with the outcome.

Another reason to love white jeans is they look great with literally ANY top. Whether it be a solid colored t-shirt or a patterned blouse, you’re going to win with this combination. I chose this long, flowy, sleeveless blouse from Sportsgirl (a top purchased by my sis when we lived in Australia) paired with a loose fitting cardigan from Zara (purchased in my Fast Fashion days) because you will notice mixing different propositions (bigger top + smaller bottom) balances out your look. To finish the outfit, add some great shades like these from Diff Eyewear  (#notsponsored #callme) and some easy, comfy chambray Toms.

This is a comfortable and easy minimal look for spring/summer, if it gets hot the cardi can easily be tied around your waist or stashed in your purse. The only thing missing is a great handbag (a small leather cross-body or straw bucket bag) and you’re all set! Please let me know your thoughts on this look and also feel free to let me know any particulars looks you would like to see in future posts!
